The reality TV star, known for winning the fourth series of the popular dating show in 2018, was detained by the Metropolitan Police in the early hours of this morning.

The dad of one was released under investigation until November 26.

Fincham was stopped on the A2 near his home in Swanley, Kent, on August 26.

The arrest came weeks before he is set to star on the All Stars edition of the show.

He is one of the former contestants who will appear on Love Island Games in Fiji from November 1.

Fincham was charged with drug-driving in 2021 but the case was dropped.

Last night a source close to him said he was using private plates rather than false ones and he denied taking drugs.

Fincham’s solicitor Conor Johnstone, of M.A.J Law, said: “Mr Fincham has not been charged with drug driving and denies any drug consumption whatsoever.
