In a video statement obtained by sources, boxing superstar Ryan Garcia assures his family, fans, and concerned well-wishers that he is alive and “okay.”

However, he reveals a distressing situation, claiming he has been stripped of access to his phone, Instagram account, and financial resources.

Speaking directly to his supporters, the 24-1 boxer, known as King Ryan, expresses his confusion about the unfolding events, suggesting he is being exploited. In the video, he says, “I’m not in possession of my phone, I can’t get access to my Instagram. My cards are locked. I’m being really taken advantage [of].”

Garcia emphasizes the importance of reaching out to his loved ones and fans to dispel any concerns about his well-being.

He vehemently denies rumors of his demise, stating, “I’m not dead, I believe in Jesus, all those [rumors] are lies.” Despite the uncertainty surrounding his current situation, he reassures everyone that he is okay.

In the video, Garcia discloses that an unidentified party is attempting to put him in jail. He expresses frustration at the lack of response when seeking help from people around him. “I don’t know what’s going on, but just know I’m okay,” he adds.

This video statement comes in response to growing worries among fans due to Garcia’s recent unusual social media activity, including a video hinting at something bad happening to him.

In contrast, his father and coach, Henry Garcia, addressed the concerns on Sunday, characterizing it as trolling “the wrong way.”
