Garrison Brown‘s Last Texts Worried Janelle Before Suicide
Janelle Brown, a cast member of “Sister Wives,” took the initiative to check on her son Garrison after receiving distressing texts from him, eventually leading to the tragic discovery of his suicide.
According to the police report, authorities spoke with Janelle on Tuesday after Garrison had taken his own life.
The police detailed that Janelle shared troubling messages her son had sent to a group of people associated with the Brown family’s show the day before his death.
In the texts to the group, Garrison expressed a mix of emotions, saying, “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”
Upon learning about these messages, Janelle reached out to Garrison directly. The brief conversation they had raised concerns, prompting Janelle to contact her other children for help. Garrison’s brother, Gabriel, volunteered to check on him.
Tragically, by the time Gabriel arrived in Flagstaff, Garrison had already taken his own life. Shockingly, during the investigation, it was revealed that Garrison’s roommates, who had heard a sound the night before, did not investigate further and were unaware of the severity of the situation.
It wasn’t until Gabriel discovered his brother’s lifeless body with a handgun that the roommates realized Garrison had committed suicide.
The police report also disclosed that Garrison had been dealing with alcohol-related struggles, a known issue within the household.
Despite recent positive changes in his life, such as a new job at a medical facility, no one seemed aware of the underlying issues leading to his tragic decision.
Additionally, Janelle informed the police that Garrison was estranged from his father, Kody. The 25-year-old reality star passed away on Tuesday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, leaving behind a heartbreaking and complex set of circumstances for his family to grapple with.
