“Rust Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed Struggles in Jail After Manslaughter Conviction”

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the armorer on the “Rust” movie set, is reportedly facing a challenging time in a New Mexico detention center after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the accidental shooting death of Halyna Hutchins.

According to her lawyer, Jason Bowles, Hannah is having a difficult adjustment to her new surroundings, and her family is making arrangements to visit her.

The guilty verdict, which spared her from evidence tampering charges, led to her swift booking into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Hannah’s defense attributed the tragic incident to overwork and production stress, distancing her from direct responsibility for Halyna’s death.

Despite plans to appeal the conviction, the armorer is said to be in shock, grappling with the reality of life behind bars. While her sentencing date is pending, she faces a potential prison term of up to 18 months.
