Joe Alwyn was spotted in Los Angeles on Friday, seemingly unfazed by the presence of his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and her current beau, Travis Kelce, who are also in town. Interestingly, there appears to be a common thread connecting them all—Emma Stone.
The British actor was seen near a coffee shop in Studio City, appearing relaxed and solo. While he initially wore a ball cap and shades, he later removed them, indicating he wasn’t attempting to go unnoticed.
Instead, Joe seemed comfortable with his visibility and didn’t shy away from being photographed, simply going about his day.
The situation is intriguing for several reasons. Firstly, Joe finds himself in Taylor’s territory, and to add to the complexity, she’s currently in L.A. with Travis Kelce, who has been actively exploring the city.
Should their paths cross, it could lead to an awkward encounter. Joe and Taylor had been in a relationship for six years before their breakup in 2023, and with Taylor’s forthcoming album speculated to address their relationship, tensions could be high.
However, Joe’s demeanor suggests he’s indifferent to the possibility of encountering Taylor and Travis. His presence in L.A. is primarily work-related, as he’s involved in a project alongside Emma Stone.
They will be starring in a new film directed by the same filmmaker who recently earned Stone an Oscar. This collaboration marks the second time Joe and Emma have worked together, having previously starred in “The Favourite.”
