She confessed to making numerous sacrifices in the name of love, prioritizing her role as a caregiver for their children over her own artistic pursuits. This decision, fueled by devotion, ultimately led to a significant hiatus in her music career.
The relationship between Shakira and Piqué reached its conclusion during the summer of 2022 amidst swirling rumors of infidelity.
Shakira has since relocated from Spain to Miami, where she has forged a close friendship with David Beckham, whom she had known from before her relationship with Piqué.
Notably, Beckham’s former affiliation with Barcelona‘s arch-rival, Real Madrid, adds an intriguing dimension to their connection.
