Karen Huger was involved in a harrowing accident this week, resulting in significant damage to her vehicle, rendering it inoperable.
According to a representative from the Montgomery County Police, the “Real Housewives of Potomac” star was driving a 2017 Maserati late Tuesday night in Potomac, Maryland, reportedly exhibiting aggressive driving behavior, exceeding safe speeds for the prevailing conditions.
Police reports indicate that Huger struck a median and a crosswalk sign at an intersection before continuing and ultimately colliding with a parking sign off the roadway, bringing her car to a halt.
While the airbag deployed, fortunately, there were no other passengers in the vehicle, and the extent of any injuries, if any, remains undisclosed.
The severity of the damage sustained by the car necessitated the dispatch of a tow truck for retrieval, though the full extent of the damage is yet to be determined.
Huger received multiple citations from law enforcement, although the specific infractions have not been disclosed at this time. Notably, she was not subjected to arrest in connection with the incident.
