Trevor Etienne – Brother of Travis Etienne Arrested for DUI
Trevor Etienne, recognized as the brother of Travis Etienne, the prominent running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars, found himself in legal trouble after being arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
According to a spokesperson from the Athens-Clarke County jail, Trevor was booked around 4:35 AM ET on charges related to DUI.
Additionally, he faced accusations of reckless driving, failure to maintain lane or improper driving on the road, and affixing materials that obstruct visibility of windows and windshield.
Reports indicate that Trevor was released from custody just prior to 5:30 AM after posting bonds amounting to $1,883.
Despite being only 19 years old, Trevor had already made a mark in college football during his time with the Florida Gators, where he accumulated over 1,400 rushing yards and scored 14 touchdowns over two seasons.
Having recently transferred from Florida to the University of Georgia, Trevor had been actively participating in practices with his new team.
Responding to inquiries, Steven Drummond, the Executive Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communications at Georgia, confirmed that the school was aware of the charges and was investigating the situation, as stated in a statement provided to ESPN.
