A substantial arsenal, comprising AK-47 rifles, ammunition, hand grenades, communication devices, and mobile phones, has been seized from the surrendered commanders now under custody.
In an official statement, it was highlighted that the recovery of these items from the surrendering terrorists serves as a significant indicator of the operation’s success.
The recovered weaponry includes one AK-47 rifle, three AK-47 rifle magazines, and 90 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, alongside a magazine carrier and a mobile phone belonging to Ibrahim Mohammed.
Additionally, items recovered from Auwal Mohammed WANKA encompass one AK-47 rifle, five magazines, 101 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, a mobile phone, a magazine carrier, two hand grenades, and a handheld radio.
These seizures underscore the tangible impact of the operation in neutralizing terrorist threats and preventing further violence in the region.
