Elon Musk has introduced a new television channel, but its name has sparked some unintended associations among the public.

The entrepreneur shared a brief 12-second teaser on his personal X account, formerly known as Twitter, unveiling “XTV.” The teaser featured the logo of the rebranded social media platform displayed on a stack of vintage black and white TVs.

This teaser quickly garnered attention, amassing 1.8 million views by the time of its publication. The clip cleverly zooms out from one television to reveal a stack of screens, all converging to form the iconic “X” logo associated with Musk’s ventures.

On April 23, X unveiled its latest innovation—a video app—as part of its ongoing expansion into the realm of multimedia.

The app boasts a promising video trend algorithm, leveraging artificial intelligence to curate personalized content.

Furthermore, it offers seamless cross-platform viewing, allowing users to transition from smartphones to TVs without missing a beat.

Musk has outlined plans to prioritize consumer experience before exploring monetization avenues, including potential advertising partnerships.

However, despite Musk’s business-oriented rhetoric, many users on X have humorously pointed out that the channel’s name inadvertently conjures associations with adult content.
