Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have officially settled their divorce nearly a year after Sam initiated the process.
The couple filed a Stipulated Judgment, which was facilitated by Britney’s lawyer, Laura Wasser. Once the judge signs off, their marriage will be legally dissolved. Despite initial reports suggesting a substantial payout to Sam, details remain undisclosed.
Sam filed for divorce in August, citing “irreconcilable differences,” 14 months after their marriage ceremony at Britney’s Thousand Oaks residence.
While there were speculations about contesting the prenup, it didn’t come to fruition. Allegations arose regarding Britney’s infidelity with a household staff member and incidents of physical altercations, with Sam reportedly sustaining injuries.
Notably, Britney’s memoir, “The Woman in Me,” released amidst the divorce proceedings, lacked any disparaging remarks about Sam.
In December, Britney shared her reflections on Instagram, admitting to struggling with self-talk and vulnerability to manipulation.
Meanwhile, Sam’s post-divorce activities, including a PETA photoshoot featuring dogs accompanied by a caption hinting at enduring loves, suggest a subtle commentary on their failed relationship.
