Deshaun Watson has made a significant and permanent gesture of love to his girlfriend, Jilly Anais, by getting a large tattoo of her face on his left shoulder blade.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback visited tattoo artist Andres Ortega at Onder Ink in Arizona this month to have the intricate work done.
The portrait of Jilly Anais is a standout element of a much larger tattoo that now spans Watson’s entire back.
In addition to the image of his girlfriend, the tattoo includes tributes to Watson’s mother, his hometown, and other family members.
It also features representations of his championship rings, with one ring intentionally left blank, symbolizing his aspiration to win a Super Bowl in the future.
The detailed artwork doesn’t stop there; it includes images of Martin Luther King Jr., Popeye, and an astronaut. Ortega revealed that the entire process took around nine hours to complete.
Watson was so pleased with the result that he gifted the artist a signed Browns jersey as a token of appreciation.
While Jilly Anais has not yet publicly commented on the tattoo, given their long-term relationship, she is likely thrilled with the tribute. The Browns will get a chance to see Watson’s new ink up close when players report for OTAs next week.
