Diddy Seen Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend Cassie in 2016 Hotel Incident

A representative for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts stated, “This hotel is no longer under IHG management, and we do not have any access to prior incident records or footage.”

Law enforcement sources confirm that there are no police records related to the 2016 incident at the InterContinental Hotel, suggesting it was never reported to authorities.

Regarding the possibility of law enforcement pursuing the case now, the LAPD explained that the statute of limitations for cases before January 2020 is three years, and five years for cases after January 2020.

Therefore, it is unlikely that the LAPD will investigate this specific incident for potential criminal charges at this point.

The incident in question involves Diddy allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel eight years ago, a claim detailed in her recent lawsuit.

CNN aired surveillance footage from the now-defunct InterContinental Hotel in Century City, showing the March 5, 2016 incident.

The footage depicts Cassie in the hallways, attempting to reach the elevators, followed by Diddy, who is seen wearing only a towel.

He catches up to her, strikes, and kicks her before attempting to drag her back to their room, unsuccessfully.

Cassie is then seen trying to use a hotel phone. Later, Diddy reappears in the hallway and throws a vase at someone off-camera, presumably Cassie, before returning to the room alone and shouting.

This footage corroborates Cassie’s allegations in her November lawsuit against Diddy, where she described the incident and its aftermath, including Diddy’s intoxication and physical assault, resulting in a black eye.

The lawsuit also mentions that after Diddy fell asleep, Cassie attempted to leave the room but was followed, yelled at, and attacked again, with Diddy throwing glass vases at her.

This was just one of many instances of abuse detailed in her complaint, which was eventually settled. Diddy has denied all allegations, even as he faces additional lawsuits and a federal investigation.

Interestingly, Diddy and Cassie were photographed at a public event just two days after the incident, appearing happy and showing no visible signs of trauma on Cassie.

In response to the video’s release, Cassie’s attorney commented, “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr.

Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
