No Foul Play Suspected in Death of Former NBA Player Darius Morris

The cause of death for former NBA player Darius Morris remains unknown, but law enforcement does not suspect foul play.

The 33-year-old, who once played for the LA Lakers, was found dead in his Los Angeles home by his family on May 2.

Authorities are still working to determine the exact cause of death. There were no signs of foul play or drugs at the scene.

An autopsy has been completed, but the cause and manner of death are pending toxicology results. Morris, who starred at the University of Michigan, was selected by the Lakers in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft. During his career, he also played for the Grizzlies and the Nets.

His funeral is scheduled for 11 AM on May 23 at Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood. The family has requested that flowers be sent to Angelus Funeral Home in Los Angeles.
