On Sunday, the couple, who have been living separately, reunited in Santa Monica to support J Lo’s child, Emme, at a school event.
Jennifer Garner also attended with her son, Samuel, as he and Emme are quite close. The day became more interesting when Ben and Jennifer left Santa Monica.
Ben was seen smiling behind the wheel with Jennifer in the passenger seat as they headed to dinner at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood.
This choice of restaurant is notable, as BOA is a known paparazzi hotspot, suggesting the couple didn’t mind being photographed together. They could have opted for the less publicized BOA in Santa Monica if they wanted more privacy.
Previously, it was reported that Ben has been residing in a rental home in Brentwood while Jennifer remains in their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion.
Observers noted that Ben was not wearing his wedding ring during a Friday outing, though he was seen with it back on Saturday outside his rental home.
