Amber Rose Endorses Donald Trump for President Sparking outrage
Amber Rose publicly endorsed a candidate for the 2024 US Presidential Election, surprising many of her followers with her choice as it seems to contradict her well-known public stances.
The model-turned-activist took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of herself with Donald Trump and Melania Trump, declaring her support for the former president with the caption, “Trump 2024.”
This endorsement quickly drew a strong reaction from her followers, many of whom pointed out the apparent contradiction between Trump’s political views and Amber’s advocacy work.
Amber Rose is a prominent Women’s Rights activist and founder of the SlutWalk, a protest aimed at ending rape culture, slut-shaming, and victim-blaming.
One follower commented, “He’s against LGBTQ+ community & supports State’s rights to choose women’s reproductive health. What??????” Another added, “Lol I better never see you speak on women’s rights again!! ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼” A third wrote, “He’s against everything I thought YOU believed in?! LGBTQA Women’s rights! The list goes on—super disappointing.” Following the backlash, Amber disabled comments on her post.
This endorsement marks a significant shift from her previous public criticisms of Trump. She has previously condemned Trump, particularly over his “locker room banter” comments, and before his election in 2016, she even declared she would leave the country if he won—though she did not follow through on this statement. Amber has not yet explained her change in political stance.
Despite the controversy, Amber Rose is not the first celebrity to support Trump. Over the years, figures like Kid Rock, Dennis Quaid, Brett Favre, James Woods, Jason Aldean, Jon Voight, and Kevin Sorbo have also voiced their support for him. Nonetheless, her endorsement has left many of her fans confused and disappointed.
