New accounts from party witnesses indicate that Alexander “AE” Edwards was the instigator, as he rushed the stage and initiated physical contact with Travis Scott.
The altercation, involving Travis Scott and Tyga’s entourages, turned an after-party in Cannes into a chaotic melee, with a few attendees likely needing ice packs afterward.
We have video footage from multiple angles showing the fight, which also involved Cher’s boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, and 808 Mafia producer Southside.
The incident occurred at an event hosted by acclaimed promoter Richie Akiva. Sources familiar with the situation tell us the brawl started when both Travis and Tyga were on stage behind the DJ booth.
Richie, grabbing the mic, gave a shoutout to the rappers, saying something like, “We got T-Raww, AE, and Travis in the building.”
Reportedly, Travis was visibly upset about being grouped with Tyga—possibly due to their shared history with Kylie Jenner.
Travis snatched the mic from Richie, prompting AE to confront him. Given AE and Tyga’s close friendship, this escalated tensions.
Travis then approached Tyga’s security with threats and stormed offstage, returning shortly with Southside.
