Mike Tyson Experiences Medical Emergency During Flight

Jake Paul is shutting down any online chatter about their fight being called off following Mike Tyson’s recent health scare.

Jake dismissed the rumors, stating that people “love to make s**t up,” but reassured fans that the July 20 bout is still on. “Nothing changed,” he said.

Mike Tyson is recovering from an ulcer flare-up he suffered while flying cross-country. The situation became serious enough that airline staff called for medical professionals on the plane to assist.

Tyson was flying from Miami to L.A. on Saturday when he started feeling ill. Although the American Airlines flight was nearly at LAX, Tyson’s pain was so severe that flight attendants requested medical help from anyone onboard.

A representative for Tyson explained, “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing.

He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.” Paramedics boarded the plane upon arrival at LAX and treated Tyson on the spot. According to In Touch Weekly, which first reported the incident, Tyson is now doing “great.”

Most passengers were reportedly unaware that it was Tyson experiencing the medical emergency. They only knew someone was in distress because the call for a doctor or nurse appeared on all the in-seat screens before being announced over the PA system.

There was a reported two-hour delay in the flight taking off, unrelated to Tyson, due to a mechanical issue with the plane. Passengers did have to wait about 25 minutes to disembark as paramedics attended to Tyson.

The 57-year-old Tyson is currently in the middle of training for his July boxing match against Jake Paul.
