Nicki Minaj Threatens to Fire Tour DJ Over Fan Boob-Signing Incident
Nicki Minaj isn’t too happy with her tour DJ, DJ Boof, and has taken to Twitter to express her displeasure over his behavior, specifically signing a fan’s breasts.
The rapper responded to a viral photo showing DJ Boof, the DJ on her “Pink Friday 2” tour, signing a fan’s chest with a Sharpie, grinning broadly as he did so.
Boof explained that the fan asked him to sign her chest, adding in his post that he felt he had finally “hit famous status” since people wanted his autograph on their bodies.
However, Nicki didn’t share his enthusiasm. She retweeted the picture and wrote, “I promise I’ll fire him if I EVAHHHHH see this again. Df.”
It’s unclear if Nicki was joking, but she seemed serious about her frustration, especially given the stressful weekend she had.
Recently, Nicki live-streamed an encounter with Amsterdam police who told her she was under arrest. She was eventually released with just a fine, but had to cancel a show in Manchester and was upset about how the Dutch police treated her.
During her show in Birmingham, she briefly mentioned the incident, vowing to fight against the actions of the Holland cops.
Given the stress she’s been under, it’s possible Nicki’s tweet was a way to vent. Regardless, DJ Boof might want to be more cautious with his interactions with fans for the time being.
