Howie is addressing this because he and Terry were frustrated by media reports suggesting she was intoxicated from alcohol, following his comments on *”Live With Kelly and Mark,”* where he described her as “tipsy” after an evening of heavy partying.
Howie clarified that Terry doesn’t have a drinking problem; instead, she had consumed weed gummies, which led to her disoriented state and subsequent fall while Howie was asleep.
Initially hesitant to specify her being high, Howie used “tipsy” as a general term to describe her intoxication.
However, he now admits that saying she was under the influence of weed might be more acceptable than implying excessive drinking—and even hints that this could present a unique branding opportunity.
In recounting the chaotic night, Howie added that Terry’s injuries and the blood in their room nearly led to a misunderstanding with hotel staff, who suspected a potential domestic violence situation.
