First-Degree Murder Charges Filed Against Rapper Rema’s Son – Jayson Scott
American rapper Remy Ma’s son, Jayson Scott, has been charged with first-degree murder, according to Fox 5. The 23-year-old, who is also known by the name “Jace Smith,” faces charges along with another individual in connection with the murder of 47-year-old Darius Guillebeaux on June 7, 2021, in Queens.
The charges against Scott and his alleged accomplice include first-degree murder, two counts of weapons possession, and reckless endangerment. Investigators are currently exploring the theory that the crime might have been a murder-for-hire.
Scott is expected to be arraigned at the Queens County courthouse. He gained some public recognition through his appearances with his mother on the reality TV series “Love & Hip Hop: New York.”
