Hologram Tech Mogul Faces $900M Verdict for Sexual Assault

Alki David, the business mogul known for pioneering the Tupac and Michael Jackson holograms, has suffered a massive legal defeat.

A jury has ordered him to pay a staggering $900 million in a sexual assault lawsuit, according to a report in the L.A. Times citing statements from the plaintiff’s attorneys.

The decision mandates David to compensate a Jane Doe with $900 million, including $800 million in punitive damages and $100 million in compensatory damages.

This unprecedented sum is one of the largest verdicts in history, as per the woman’s legal representatives.

The plaintiff alleged that David sexually harassed and assaulted her repeatedly over a three-year period from 2016 to 2019.

The jury was convinced by her claims and evidence, resulting in their decision to award such a monumental amount to the victim.

Attorneys Gary Dordick and Dustin Moaven, representing the plaintiff, provided evidence during the trial showing that David assaulted the woman even while he was facing trial for another sexual assault case.

They described a disturbingly hostile work environment at David’s company, Hologram USA. The office reportedly included a notorious room referred to as “The Rape Room” and a pornographic image labeled “HER-ASS” on the HR department door.
