Tesla Cybertruck Collides with Neighbor’s Home in First Drive

A Tesla Cybertruck driver lost control of the accelerator, crashing into a neighbor’s house, with the entire incident captured on security video.

The futuristic truck gained alarming speed while navigating a narrow alley, eventually colliding with a wall.

Despite the driver’s frantic attempts to brake, the Cybertruck’s back wheels locked up, but the truck continued its relentless push forward until it hit the home.

The driver, who had only owned the truck for four hours, emerged uninjured, but the Cybertruck didn’t fare as well.

Photos posted on X show a cracked windshield and significant damage to the bumper and hood, with the stainless steel body enduring a major blow. Estimated repair costs are around $30,000.

It’s unclear if the owner is experiencing buyer’s remorse and might attempt to return the vehicle. He also shared Tesla’s response on X:

“We have reviewed logs and, due to the terrain, the accelerator may or may not disengage when the brake is depressed.

As for the back tires locking up, we are reviewing.” This response has left the owner seeking more assurance, as it raises additional safety concerns for Tesla. Despite numerous reports of Cybertruck crashes, there has been no comment from Elon Musk yet.
