The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has apprehended 60 individuals, including 25 males and 35 females, at a drug party in Abuja.

Acting on credible intelligence, NDLEA operatives raided an apartment in Sun City Estate, Federal Capital Territory, on Friday night, where the event was being held.

The drug party, organized by Stanley Ikechukwu, who was also arrested at the scene, was themed “Go Hard or Go Home: Pick Your Poison.”

In a statement, NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi revealed that six suspects—Victoria Adoga, Hamza Yari, Joanne Essein Joy, Socchima Valentine, Jago Imole, and Charles Indobuibisi—were found in possession of varying amounts of ecstasy and cannabis.

The Chairman and Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), has ordered the unconditional release of 20 suspects who tested negative for drugs. Meanwhile, 33 individuals who tested positive for illicit substances have been granted bail and are required to report to the FCT Command on Monday for treatment and counseling.
