UAM-CTC Graduate Named ASPSF June 2024 Pupil of the Month

Harley Sawyer has at all times wished to be a nurse — it’s a calling she’s felt all her life.

Harley handed the nursing assistant certification in 2020. And on June 27 — two years after receiving her first Arkansas Single Dad or mum Scholarship Fund award —  she is going to obtain her Licensed Sensible Nurse Certificates from the College of Arkansas at Monticello School of Know-how-Crossett. She’s now working as a house well being aide with the Space Company on Ageing.

Happy with all that she’s achieved, ASPSF has named Harley of Ashley County the June 2024 Pupil of the Month.

Incomes her LPN was something however straightforward. Harley attended faculty and went to clinicals 4 days every week, leaving little time to check and no time for work. She was fearful of failing.  

However her 3-year-old daughter, Ember, impressed her to maintain pushing for her dream to make a greater life for them each.
