Volunteer Shana Pierce Shares Why She Loves Serving to Single Guardian Households

Shana Pierce heard a radio business three years in the past calling for volunteers to assist single father or mother college students attain their educational and profession targets. “She humbly does all of it with grace and no need of recognition,” Program Supervisor Carrie Allen mentioned. “She really cares about and believes in our group and our college students and needs to assist them succeed.  She is a large asset to ASPSF, and I really feel so fortunate to have her as a volunteer and good friend.”

Shanna mentioned she loves spending time with recipients and their households. She listens to their tales and celebrates with them as they attain their targets. 

“These mothers and dads are among the many most appreciative and deserving, which is without doubt one of the issues that make volunteering with ASPSF so rewarding,” Shana mentioned.  “One other rewarding second is watching these proud little faces when mother and father carry their youngsters to look at them obtain their scholarship award!”
