“Huge Brother” winner Dick Donato is sounding off on Paramount+’s determination to axe the stay feed’s rewind and archive options, and he has a one-word concept on why they did it … cash!
We caught up with Evel Dick after the streaming platform retooled the stay feed — which left followers significantly pissed, as a result of now they can not watch again unfiltered moments. Followers speculated this was a method to maintain problematic moments in the home from plaguing the present … however DD is not bought on this concept, telling us that is seemingly a cash factor.
As Dick put it, Paramount+ and CBS do not care about controversy, as this typically captures followers’ curiosity and will get them to tune in. As a substitute, he factors to the actual fact the present is filmed with HD cameras … and says archiving that footage seemingly prices a fairly penny.
Watch the vid, Dick — who received season 8 of ‘BB’ — is fairly convincing together with his concept, as he brings up how followers used to document the stay feeds themselves … so, eradicating the characteristic will not stop controversy from surfacing, and will doubtlessly trigger completely different points.
Nonetheless, Dick did not downplay Paramount+’s determination, and slammed the streamer for screwing over devoted watchers.
He added, “It is a massive f***king deal. I determine anybody who has a life, has a job, has a household, has a girlfriend or boyfriend to f**okay will use this flashback characteristic — ‘trigger you’ve gotten a life.”
Basic Dick.
His backside line’s clear, although … there’s now no purpose to subscribe to the feeds, as a result of the archival options have been the entire level in having it.
