As a part of efforts to make sure compliance with environmental legal guidelines, the Lagos State Environmental Safety Company (LASEPA), on Friday, shut down some enterprise institutions within the Ikorodu space of the state.
The affected companies are Victory Resort, Wendy Bar, Moore Gasoline Plant, Supplier Farm and Poultry, Cloud 24, Little Palace Resort, Metropolis Groove Lounge and Bar, Future Citadel, and B.S. Gold Warehouse.
The Commissioner of Setting and Water Sources, Tokunbo Wahab, in an announcement on X, the closures had been performed in continuation of LASEPA’s struggle towards noise and air air pollution by conducting a complete operation in a number of areas throughout Lagos, together with Agric and Ibeshe in Ikorodu.

He expressed disappointment that regardless of warnings by his company to avert environmental air pollution throughout the state, many companies proceed to violate environmental legal guidelines.
“Regardless of prior warnings, a number of institutions, together with motels, bars, gasoline filling stations and poultry farms proceed to flout LASEPA’s directives.
“Consequently, these institutions have been quickly shut down to make sure compliance with environmental laws,” he stated.
