ASUP cabinets deliberate nationwide strike

The Educational Employees Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has shelved its deliberate industrial motion, Simji Lumpye, the Zone B coordinator of the union, has mentioned.

In an announcement on Tuesday in Jos, Mr Lumpye defined that the choice to shelve the deliberate strike adopted a tripartite assembly between the union and authorities.

The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) remembers that ASUP had, on 19 July, issued a 15-day ultimatum to the federal government on the contentious scheme of service launched by the Nationwide Board for Technical Training (NBTE).
