“I wish to lengthen heartfelt congratulations to all of the finalists,” stated Jenn Morehead, government director of ASPSF. “Your help has been invaluable in altering the lives of single dad and mom in Arkansas. We’re impressed by your dedication and the constructive influence you’ve made. An enormous thanks to all of the nominees as properly — you’re all champions of change, and collectively, we’re making an actual distinction in our communities.”
ASPSF accepted award nominations from the neighborhood between July 8-19. A five-person choice committee of ASPSF supporters scored all 40 nominations to find out the highest three finalists in every class. Extra details about the method is on the market right here: aspsf.org/awards.
Along with celebrating the Award winners, The Lunch Break may even embrace inspiring tales from 2011 scholarship recipient Kwami Abdul-Bey, a candidate for Arkansas Home District 69 in Central Arkansas, and 2024 scholarship recipient Briana Boen, a single mother or father pupil engaged on her bachelor’s diploma at Arkansas Tech College. Emceed by Dr. Sherece West-Scantlebury of the Winthrop Rockefeller Basis, the occasion features a zero-waste lunch to put money into a brighter future for all.
A particular thanks to The Lunch Break Gold Sponsors: Baptist Well being, Conger Wealth Administration, Little Rock Public Radio, Simmons Financial institution, College of Arkansas at Little Rock, and College of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical Faculty. A full listing of sponsors is on the market on-line at aspsf.org/lunchbreak.
