Thirty EndBadGovernance protesters arrested in Katsina have been launched on bail following the intervention of their attorneys.
The police in Katsina had on Thursday arrested 64 suspects for looting and vandalism throughout the protest.
The police spokesperson in Katsina, Abubakar Sadiq, confirmed the arrests in an interview with Channels Tv on Saturday.
The suspects have been subsequently arraigned earlier than a number of magistrates within the state on Monday.
A lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, in a put up on X, mentioned 30 of the 64 arrested protesters arraigned earlier than Justice of the Peace courts in Katsina have been granted bail.
He mentioned his attorneys are perfecting the bail of the remaining protesters who have been remanded in jail.

He mentioned the opposite 34 protesters have been in a correctional centre as a result of they have been charged with offences solely bailable on the excessive courtroom.
