Classical Highlights for August 2024

Notable albums from this month function distinguished artists and musicians who might be new to many listeners. The Sixteen and its related CORO label celebrated the seventieth birthday of its founder and conductor, Harry Christophers, with 70: A Life in Music. Regional focus was a recurring theme amongst this month’s albums as effectively.
