NAFDAC seizes counterfeit cosmetics value ₦37m in Abuja

The Nationwide Company for Meals and Drug Administration and Management has intensified its marketing campaign towards counterfeit cosmetics in Abuja, seizing unlawful merchandise value ₦37 million.

Appearing on intelligence stories, NAFDAC’s Investigation and Enforcement Directorate carried out coordinated raids throughout a number of supermarkets and open markets, together with Wuse and Garki markets.

An announcement from the company on Tuesday by way of X mentioned, “A number of unregistered and counterfeit cosmetics had been seized with a complete road worth of ₦37 million.
