A 32-year-old man, Sunday Abilewa, has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly killing his father, Abu Abilewa.
Sunday allegedly strangulated his father after the deceased turned down his request to purchase him a bike.
The incident, in line with the police, occurred on December 31, 2024, at Eberi quarters, Isua Akoko, the headquarters of Akoko South East Native Authorities Space of the state.
Sunday was arraigned earlier than amagistrates court docket in Akure on Friday, and he was remanded in a correctional centre for alleged homicide.
