Nigerian Cleric Daniel Olukoya Warns of Spiritual Consequences for Men Who Disvirgin Women Without Marrying Them
Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has cautioned men about the spiritual consequences of deflowering a woman and then refusing to marry her.
During a sermon, Olukoya explained that when a man takes a woman’s virginity, he unknowingly enters into a covenant with her through the bloodshed during the act. He warned that this bond could lead to spiritual bondage, affecting not only the man but also future partners.
“If you’re a man and you’ve disvirgined a woman—or more than one—don’t be surprised if your life is upside down,” Olukoya said. “You have formed a covenant with that woman through her blood. If you don’t marry her, you have created a serious spiritual problem for yourself that can pass down generations unless it is broken.”
He further cautioned that if the woman carries any demonic influences, the man could become spiritually entangled with those forces. Worse still, if he moves on to another partner, he may unknowingly transfer those negative spiritual energies, causing further harm.
Olukoya’s sermon emphasized the importance of spiritual awareness in relationships, urging individuals to seek deliverance if they have engaged in such acts without understanding the implications.
