Sauce Walka Shot Outside FedExForum in Memphis

Sauce Walka Injured in Memphis Shooting, Expected to Recover

Rapper Sauce Walka was shot in Memphis on Saturday afternoon, but sources close to him confirm he is alive and expected to recover.

According to his family, Sauce Walka—born Albert Walker Mondane—was one of two men shot outside a hotel near the FedExForum.

He sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Fortunately, he is expected to make a full recovery.

His family also stated that it appears Sauce Walka was not the intended target of the shooting. Tragically, another man who was with him at the time was also shot and did not survive. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear as authorities continue their investigation.
