Philadelphia Mom Accused of Killing Husband Days After Facebook Rant
A Philadelphia mother of three, Danielle Baxter, 39, has been arrested for allegedly shooting her husband, Jordan Baxter, 38, and leaving his body on a plastic sheet outside their home—just days after posting online about women “plotting” on her marriage.
Police discovered Jordan Baxter’s body early Wednesday, March 19, between two parked cars outside the couple’s home.
He had been shot in the head, with a gun left on his chest. Blood was also found inside their residence, which he shared with Danielle and their three children, according to WPVI.
Danielle Baxter was arrested a day after the discovery and now faces multiple charges, including murder and abuse of a corpse.
She remains in custody and is set to appear in court on April 7. Authorities have not yet disclosed a possible motive.
Days before the alleged crime, Danielle had shared cryptic Facebook posts hinting at marital troubles. On March 14, she reportedly wrote, “These females out here be plotting on your marriage and waiting for your downfall so they can come right on in, and these men let them.”
The case has drawn significant attention, with investigators still piecing together the events leading up to the fatal shooting.
