Yella Beezy Released on $750K Bail After Bond Reduction in Mo3 Murder Case
Rapper Yella Beezy is out on bail after a Texas judge reduced his bond in the murder case of fellow rapper Mo3.
Beezy, whose real name is Markies Conway, was released from custody Friday morning after posting a $750,000 bond—significantly lower than the initial $2 million set after his arrest.
Beezy was taken into custody last week for allegedly orchestrating the 2020 killing of Melvin Noble, known as Mo3, who was shot and killed in broad daylight on a Dallas highway.
Prosecutors claim Beezy hired Kewon White to carry out the hit, though Beezy has pleaded not guilty.
Surveillance footage from Mo3’s murder showed him being chased on foot before being fatally shot on a busy interstate.
White, the alleged gunman, has already been charged with the murder. Meanwhile, a viral video of Yella Beezy being escorted into a police station—his hands cuffed behind his back and his expression unreadable—has sparked widespread reaction online.
Following his release, Beezy’s representatives stated that he “feels relieved” but declined to comment further on his next steps.
