Martial arts expert and Hollywood trainer Richard Norton, known for coaching A-list stars such as Ben Affleck, Margot Robbie, and Scarlett Johansson, has passed away at the age of 75.

Norton died on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia, as confirmed by his wife, Judy Green. In a heartfelt Instagram tribute, she expressed her devastation, writing, “I am numb and devastated, I have no words, I have lost my everything.” She added that she is still coming to terms with the loss of “this incredible human being.”

A legendary figure in the industry, Norton played a pivotal role in preparing top actors for physically demanding roles.

He trained Affleck and Charlie Hunnam for Triple Frontier and worked with Liam Neeson on Backlight, among many others.

Beyond his coaching, Norton had an impressive film career of his own, appearing in movies such as Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Suicide Squad, and even the ABBA film ABBA: The Movie.

His contributions to martial arts and cinema left a lasting impact, and he will be deeply missed.
