Kanye West Says He Regrets Having Kids with Kim Kardashian

Kanye West has made a startling revelation about his past marriage to Kim Kardashian and their children, admitting he regrets having kids with her.

In a newly released YouTube interview, the 47-year-old rapper, now known as Ye, stated that he did not intend to have children with Kim after just two months of being together. “That was my fault,” he admitted. “I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her, but that wasn’t God’s plan.”

Ye also expressed frustration over his lack of control regarding their four children—North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5—questioning the fairness of their custody arrangement.

“I don’t have the name and likeness ownership, or at least 50-50 with my kids,” he said, adding, “So how’s it joint custody?”

He further criticized the Kardashian family’s influence over his children, saying, “My kids are celebrities, and I don’t have the say-so.

So this white woman and this white family have control over these highly influential Black kids that are half the children of Ye.”

West and Kardashian were married for six years, from 2014 to 2021, before finalizing their divorce. His comments come amid reports that his current wife, Bianca Censori, is considering having a child with him in an effort to strengthen their marriage, despite speculation that she may have other motives.
