Kim Delaney appears to have reconciled with her husband, James Morgan, after a turbulent weekend involving an alleged domestic violence incident.

On Thursday, the former NYPD Blue star shared a heartfelt post on social media to celebrate James’s 55th birthday, showing him affection with a bouquet of flowers.

“Birthday Boy, 55!!!!! Your wife loves you, my guy!” she wrote, adding Chris Stapleton’s song “Joy of My Life” to the post.

However, the message made no reference to the reported domestic altercation earlier in the week, leaving some fans puzzled about the couple’s relationship status.

The incident in question occurred over the weekend, with Kim being arrested for assault likely to cause great bodily injury. James, too, was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges.

According to police, the couple had been arguing for two days, beginning Friday night when Kim reported a domestic violence incident involving James.

Authorities say James left their home after the Friday dispute but returned Saturday morning, leading to another call to police from Kim.

The sheriff’s deputies reported that James claimed Kim had attempted to hit him with her car, even showing video evidence of the alleged incident.

Kim appeared in court on Tuesday, where prosecutors ultimately decided not to pursue charges against either party.

Now, with no charges filed, it seems Kim and James have reconciled, as evidenced by her birthday post and their apparent return to normalcy.
