‘Narcos: Mexico’ Star Manuel Masalva in Coma After Aggressive Infection, Friend Says

Actor Manuel Masalva — known for portraying Ramón Arellano Félix in Narcos: Mexico — has reportedly fallen into a medically induced coma due to a severe infection, according to close friend and fellow actor Mario Morán.
Morán shared the news in a TikTok video on Thursday, explaining that Masalva contracted what he described as a “very aggressive virus” while on vacation.
Although the exact location of the trip remains unknown, Morán noted that Manuel is currently hospitalized and in a “delicate” condition, still far from home.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist with his medical expenses and support his recovery.
While Masalva gained international recognition through Narcos: Mexico, he’s also known in Latin America for roles in series like La Guzmán, Mi Corazón es Tuyo, and the LGBTQ+ drama Tengo que morir todas las noches.
