‘Dazed and Confused’ Star Nicky Katt Dies by Suicide, No Note Left

Actor Nicky Katt Dies by Suicide at 54, No Note Found
Actor Nicky Katt, best known for his role as Clint Bruno in the cult classic Dazed and Confused, tragically died by suicide at his Los Angeles-area home, law enforcement sources confirm.

Katt’s body was discovered on April 8 by his landlord, who had initially visited the apartment about a week earlier to remind the actor that his rent was due.
When the landlord returned five days later, the door was ajar, and Katt was found hanging inside his bedroom.
Authorities believe he had been deceased for over a day, and no suicide note was found at the scene.

Born in South Dakota, Katt became a familiar face in Hollywood throughout the 1980s and 1990s, appearing in numerous television shows and films.
He was widely recognized for his role as edgy teacher Harry Senate in Boston Public, and also had notable appearances on shows like Monk and Law & Order.
On the big screen, Katt delivered memorable performances in films such as A Time to Kill, Boiler Room, Sin City, School of Rock, and The Way of the Gun. However, he remains most iconic for his role in Dazed and Confused as the hot-tempered Clint Bruno.
Katt was previously married to Annie Morse from 1999 until their divorce in 2001. He was 54 years old.
