Teenage boys, 14, arrested for allegedly r@ping 12-year-old girl
In the UK, two 14-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of the s£xual assault of a 12-year-old girl that reportedly occurred outside a secondary school.
Police are investigating after receiving a report around 7:45 PM on Sunday stating the girl was s£xually assaulted in a field near The Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester, Dorset.
Authorities indicated the schoolgirl had met with the two boys prior to the alleged incident. Detectives and specialized officers have spoken with the young girl.
A police cordon is in place at the location for ongoing searches. Two 14-year-old boys from the Weymouth area have been arrested on suspicion of r@pe and subsequently released on bail as the investigation continues.
Inspector Sam Goom of Dorset Police has asked the community not to be alarmed by the increased police presence, assuring that such reports are taken very seriously and that extensive inquiries are underway while support is being provided to the victim.
He added that the enhanced police presence around the playing fields is to gather evidence and encouraged locals to speak with neighborhood officers with any questions or concerns, acknowledging the likely community concern.
