Justin Baldoni Withdraws Taylor Swift Subpoena

Taylor Swift is officially out of the legal crossfire in the ongoing lawsuit involving Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.
Baldoni’s legal team has withdrawn subpoenas issued to Swift and her legal representatives, effectively ending any obligation for the pop star to participate in the case.

A representative for Blake Lively confirmed the withdrawal and expressed support for Swift, saying they backed efforts to quash the subpoenas.
The rep added, “We will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed during this legal process.”
Sources tell TMZ that while Baldoni’s side initially tried to pull Swift into the dispute, they backed down once the matter reached federal court.
Lively’s camp didn’t hold back, accusing Baldoni’s team of using distractions to avoid addressing the core allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation.
Earlier this month, Swift was subpoenaed as a potential witness in the lawsuit surrounding It Ends With Us, the film adaptation that Lively stars in and Baldoni is producing.
Swift’s team pushed back strongly, arguing her connection to the matter was minimal.
Tensions escalated when Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, submitted a letter claiming an anonymous source alleged Lively tried to pressure Swift into publicly supporting her. The court later struck that letter from the record.
Although Swift’s name comes up in the suit—most notably in a text where Lively jokingly likens herself to the “Mother of Dragons” and Swift and Ryan Reynolds as her “dragons”—sources say the singer was blindsided by her involvement and felt manipulated.
She allegedly attended a meeting assuming it would be a private discussion with Lively, unaware Baldoni would be there too.
