Mom Left Chilling Note Before Murder-Suicide

A mother who brutally took the lives of her entire family before ending her own reportedly left behind a disturbing letter, offering a chilling glimpse into her troubled state of mind.

Laura Fernanda Leguizamón, 50, is suspected of fatally stabbing her husband, Bernardo Adrián Seltzer, 53, and their two sons—Ian, 15, and Ivo, 12—inside their apartment in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The horrifying discovery was made on the morning of Wednesday, May 21, when the family’s housekeeper arrived for work.

According to local media reports, the housekeeper first found young Ivo lifeless in the living room, lying in a pool of blood. She then discovered Ian in one of the bedrooms, also dead from multiple stab wounds.
The bodies of Leguizamón and her husband were later found in the master bedroom.
Emergency services confirmed all four deaths at the scene.
Authorities believe Bernardo may have been attacked while he slept. Laura was found with a fatal wound, but investigators noted there were no signs of a struggle, suggesting she may have died by suicide.
Both children reportedly had stab wounds to their backs, along with defensive injuries indicating they tried to resist the attack.
A handwritten note was found in the kitchen, believed to have been written by Leguizamón, though the author has not yet been officially confirmed.
Much of the letter was difficult to read, but key phrases reportedly included: “Everything was bad, it was a lot. I love you. Everything was bad. Very perverse.”
A source close to the investigation told local media outlet Infobae: “The letter appeared to be written by someone in a deeply disturbed state of mind.”
Further details have since emerged suggesting Leguizamón was undergoing psychiatric treatment prior to the killings.
Her sister told police she had been receiving mental health care, and the housekeeper said the mother’s behavior had changed noticeably in recent weeks—becoming agitated, asking the worker to leave early, and expressing irritation at everyday noises.
Investigators believe one of the children may have attempted to flee the apartment during the attack but was ultimately caught and killed.
With no signs of forced entry or theft, authorities are treating the case as a domestic murder-suicide.
The family appeared to have lived a relatively normal life from the outside. Social media posts showed they had recently vacationed in Uruguay for Bernardo’s birthday and previously celebrated Laura’s 50th birthday in the Dominican Republic.
In a resurfaced video from 2017, Bernardo spoke warmly about his family, saying, “I have a loving, fantastic wife; I am grateful to life for having found her. And I have two beautiful children.”
The investigation remains ongoing as Argentina’s Justice Department seeks to fully understand the circumstances that led to the tragic deaths.
