Rapper Skilla Baby Injured in Targeted Drive-By Shooting

American rapper Skilla Baby is currently recovering in the hospital after being injured in a targeted drive-by shooting on Thursday night.
The 25-year-old artist was reportedly inside a black SUV when unknown assailants opened fire near the intersection of 8 Mile and Beech Daly—a busy area notorious for its rough reputation.
According to multiple sources cited by FOX 2, the SUV was riddled with bullets before veering off the road and crashing into a nearby building.
Authorities revealed that Skilla Baby suffered a gunshot wound to the hand and was grazed twice—once on the head and once on the back.
Despite his injuries, he was conscious and responsive when emergency responders arrived and was swiftly transported to a local hospital. Doctors say he is expected to fully recover.
Redford Township Police are currently handling the investigation, with no arrests announced yet.
The incident underscores growing alarm over escalating gun violence in the Detroit area, which has seen several high-profile shootings in recent months.
