Diddy’s Ex-Assistant Alleges He Kidnapped Her, Threatened Kid Cudi

The sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs resumed on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Manhattan federal court, where his former assistant, Capricorn Clark, delivered disturbing testimony accusing the music mogul of threatening her life, subjecting her to intimidation tactics, and coercing her into participating in a violent plot against rapper Kid Cudi.
Clark, the government’s 17th witness, painted a picture of a toxic and dangerous environment within Combs’s inner circle.
She testified that her time working for Diddy was marked by abuse, fear, and manipulation.
According to her, Diddy’s anger flared upon learning she had previously worked at Death Row Records, the label of his long-standing rival Suge Knight.
On her first day at Bad Boy Entertainment in 2004, she said Diddy and his security took her to Central Park at night, where he allegedly told her that if she had any ties to Knight, he’d have to kill her.
Throughout her employment, Clark said she faced escalating threats.
In one instance, she was accused of stealing jewelry and subjected to five consecutive days of lie detector tests, administered by Diddy’s security team in an abandoned building. She claimed she was told she’d be dumped into the East River if she failed.
Her workload, Clark added, was grueling—often lasting 20 hours a day—and the stress contributed to her developing alopecia.
She was tasked with preparing hotel rooms under Diddy’s aliases “Frank Black” or “Frank White,” stocking them with baby oil, drugs, cameras, and other items allegedly used during his so-called “freak offs”—marathon sexual encounters he allegedly orchestrated.
Clark testified that Diddy occasionally asked her to procure drugs like ecstasy and cocaine, even using her name for prescriptions.
She broke down while describing a moment in 2006 when Combs physically shoved her in his Miami home after she expressed her unhappiness with the job.
A particularly chilling part of Clark’s testimony involved an alleged plot to harm Kid Cudi, who was dating Diddy’s then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
On December 22, 2011, Clark claimed Diddy showed up at her house armed and told her they were “going to go kill [Kid Cudi].”
Though frightened and unwilling, Clark said she was forced at gunpoint to accompany Diddy and a bodyguard to Cudi’s Los Angeles home.
While she waited in the car, she secretly warned Cassie—who was with Cudi at a nearby hotel—using a burner phone.
Cudi later testified that when he learned Diddy was at his home, he rushed back but managed to avoid a confrontation.
Clark said Diddy grew enraged and used her phone to try to trace her call to Cassie. When they saw Cudi’s car leaving, they gave chase but lost him.
Clark testified that Diddy later beat Cassie upon her return to his home, an assault she witnessed but was too scared to stop. Instead, she called Cassie’s mother, begging her to help.
Soon after, Clark reported the incident to senior executives at Bad Boy Entertainment and was promptly fired. She alleged Diddy warned her she’d “never work again” and that he’d “make [her] kill [herself].”
Despite the trauma, Clark said she eventually returned to work for Diddy in 2016 as Cassie’s creative director, claiming she had no other job prospects.
When asked about her personal relationship with Diddy, Clark insisted it was entirely platonic.
However, the defense introduced a 2021 text in which she appeared to confess to having once had a crush on him—a message Clark said she couldn’t recall sending.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, faces serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
He has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
