Alleged Accomplice of Enugu Native Doctor Identified as Religious Facebook Businessman

Nigerians have been left stunned following the revelation of one of the alleged accomplices arrested alongside Enugu-based native doctor Obi Obieze, who is at the center of a horrifying case involving kidnapping and ritual killings.

The incident unfolded on May 26, when a 13-year-old girl was abducted by three men while accompanying her father to the farm in Isiagu community, Enugu State.
The following day, her cries were heard coming from the compound of Obi Obieze — a well-known native doctor who goes by multiple aliases including Obu Onyeka, “Ezeani,” and “E-Dey-Play-E-Dey-Show.” She was found tied up and reportedly intended for ritual sacrifice.

In the course of the rescue, more gruesome discoveries were made. Bodies of other victims — including that of a heavily pregnant woman — were found buried in a soakaway pit within Obieze’s compound.
Enraged locals responded by burning down the house and vehicles at the scene. Obieze initially fled but was later apprehended while attempting to escape Nigeria via a land border.

In a statement issued by the police, three men were confirmed arrested in connection with the crime: Uche Kingsley Agumba (33), Ilo Nweze Onyedikachi (36), and Ejike Odinwankpa (38).
However, it was the identity of Uche Kingsley that shocked many across the country.

Known in the southeastern region as a devout Christian, Kingsley had built a public image centered around his faith.
According to people familiar with him, he never missed church events and frequently traveled from Aba to Enugu to attend religious programs.
He decorated his shop, cars, and home with church stickers, presenting the persona of a staunch believer.
It has now been alleged that during his stays in Enugu, he also visited and patronized the native doctor now accused of ritual killings.
Kingsley is also widely regarded as a successful entrepreneur, dealing in building materials at Ariaria Market in Aba and in furniture materials at Iloabuchi in Port Harcourt.
His Facebook profile paints the picture of a God-fearing businessman, filled with religious quotes and product advertisements.
Following the news of his arrest, shocked Nigerians have flocked to his Facebook page, expressing disbelief and disappointment in comments under his previous posts.
Many are grappling with the contrast between his religious facade and the dark allegations now hanging over him.
