Escaped Inmate Seeks Trump’s Help in Instagram Video

An inmate who escaped from the Orleans Justice Center (OJC) on May 16 has surfaced online, posting a video to plead his case and deny the charges that led to his incarceration and eventual escape.
The fugitive, identified as Antoine Massey, is one of ten inmates who broke out of the facility in the early hours of May 16.
While eight of the escapees have since been recaptured, Massey and another inmate, Derrick Groves, remain at large. Authorities are offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to their capture.
In the video, Massey claims he was not forcibly escaping but was “let out” of OJC.
He used the platform to call for help from public figures, including former U.S. President Donald Trump and rappers Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, and NBA YoungBoy.
“Who I was in the past is not who I am today,” Massey said in the recording, distancing himself from previous allegations and denying that he ever threatened a jail maintenance worker with a weapon.
He also accused both the Orleans Justice Center and the St. Tammany Parish jail system of corruption.
Massey argued that he was unfairly jailed on a domestic abuse battery charge, claiming it stemmed from a false report by a jealous girlfriend.
During the video, he held up what he alleged were affidavits supporting his innocence, saying, “This is the affidavits on a date right here.”
The fugitive further claimed that he was being targeted by the Louisiana justice system and was facing a life sentence for crimes he insists he did not commit.
He portrayed his escape not as an act of criminal intent but as a desperate move to flee what he described as unjust persecution and mistreatment while behind bars.
As law enforcement continues the manhunt, officials have also arrested over a dozen people suspected of assisting the escapees.
